Path Of Days

For three years I was taught to come before the LORD daily, and take notes numbering each day, not knowing that in the future it will be a part of this book. It was an act of obedient faith and the desperation of my heart longing for the Lord’s Jesus  touch and love; at the same time keeping my commitment to His one single request: not to miss a day with Him. Morning by morning, waiting upon the Lord to be drowned, I numbered each day, as I was coming alive in God’s Presence through His Word, my Daily Bread.

After the draft of the Book was completed, I noticed the form and the signature of “Day 1” was distinctly different from the Days ahead. Let by the Spirit of God to pray the same way as Ezra prayed for Israel following each step, I found myself praying for the Coming Move of God. Putting to practice the Word of God, made life by the Holy Spirit in my heart under His Lordship, made Heaven an experience of overtaking present reality. It was not reasoning based on knowledge, or acting upon my own self-will that made it happen. For there is not a thing that the Spirit of God hates more than the self-opposing nature of humanity, born of the rebellious will in the Garden of Eden.

My walk on the Path began with repentance and turning in prayer, being led by the Holy Spirit; for He is the One who writes the Word of God inwardly upon my heart and mind, daily, separating my old nature from God’s image and likeness born in me. The further I walked on the Path further apart from the old Self my life has become. As I drew near to the Lord Jesus I became aware that my old nature is of a different state of mind and heart, which is an enemy of God’s nature in Him.

Day by Day walking on the Path the Holy Spirit unveiled to my heart through the Written Scripture the God of Heaven, the One missed seeing even all things visible are made by Him. For what is life if lived without knowing the One Who is the Author of Life, and Life’s very substance. What a miss !!! Life without HIM is like cooking a masterpiece meal for the first time without following the prescribed original recipe. That is more likely what we end up with, a big bowl of soup with everything in it, trying to manage it day by day.

 After the work was finished, looking back from the end of Days toward the beginning of the Path, I saw the fruit of the Holy Spirit within each Day working in me with His understanding, to enlarge my view toward the Salvation of God. For moving ahead on the Path is by sight that views the things of the Spirit, sight that the Word of God sparkles in you, called the enlightenment of the Word, which the Holy Spirit grants to you by invitation, but your heart’s desire takes it into possession.

Yes, Salvation comes because of the Life of the Son of God, Yehoshua, Jesus, given as a gift of God, for whosoever has faith in Him may not be lost, but find Eternal Life. But the Lord’s eternal reach is a long stretch throughout the ages of many generations, making a Path through the lives which have experienced His saving grace reaching out toward you. This is what this book is about to reach whosoever, no matter who you are, or how far you have gone, you are still within His reach.

My prayer for all who read this book is to get you from where you are to the place where God is. It is a PATH that begins with you answering the call of God to come to Him. “Who has wrought and done it calling forth the generation from the beginning?  I, the Lord, the First, and with the Last ones; I AM HE.” (Is.41:4 OJB)
